The Statue of Unity is located in the Indian state of Gujarat. The statue of Unity is a memorial monument dedicated to Indian independence’s leader Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel is universally well known as the Iron Man of India. He was the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of India. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel has played a vital role in India’s independence. Patel is also considered as one of the leading fathers of the Republic of India.
If we talk about world’s tallest statues, The Statue of Unity monument stands at first with the height of 182 metre (597 ft). The statue of Unity is also a source of motivation and inspiration for the ages to come. The Spring Temple Buddha comes in 2nd place with the height of 153 metre, and it is located in Lushan County, Henan, China.
Indian Prime Minister (Shri Narendra Modi) decided to pay an honorable tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel which will be appreciated for centuries by the entire glorious world. Location of The statue of Unity : It is situated facing the Narmada Dam, 3.2 km away on the river island called Sadhu Bet near Rajpipla in Gujarat. The Statue of Unity is surrounded by a 12 square km artificial lake.
